2010 Photos & Itinerary

Fifty educators from across the country spent an amazing week at Discovery's World Headquarters outside of Washington, DC, during the summer for the inaugural Siemens STEM Institute. The week was action-packed with field trips to leading STEM institutions, like the National Institute of Health and the Department of Energy, as well as a special trip to the White House to meet with Dr. John Holdren. While collaborating and working together on STEM-related research projects, Fellows had the opportunity to network and share with peers from across the country. The program enabled Fellows to interact with top STEM experts and they walked away with certificates of recognition as well as a new set of tools to inspire STEM education in their classrooms.
